The average scores on benchmarks like that have very ranging results. *Motherboard Asus Prime Z390-A with updated bios. They could be overclocking and or have better cooling. My 2600 4.15GHz gets me 1309 points without sleepbug and 1409 with sleep bug (with a bunch of other programs running in the background). *So i uninstalled 416.94 and installed again 417.71 and scores are consistent like before. If you just turn off your PC and then boot it up again it sometimes can happen that cinebench is bugged and will show an additional 100 points in multi and around 20 points more in single threaded. Also had enabled share overlay in GF experience. (All core downclocks to 2.6ghz again) Without this xeon v3 turbo bios mod, cpu always downclocks to 2.2ghz for some reason and scores low on r20. I dont had any process in background but only saw ,that after moment a message from nvidia ( left right corner ) pop up about actually new nvidia driver. It gets 2800cb in cinebench R15 (stays at all core 3.15ghz) And around 5709cb in cinebench r20 (for some reason it downclocks to 2.6ghz) My e5 2686v3 score 4728cb with only 14 cores enabled. a negative voltage offset: the Godlike board was stable with an offset as low as -0 I was trying to get my voltage to run lower as. if your chip is capable of higher clocks at lower volts than the boosting system allows, you should set static voltage and static multiplier. cinebench usually goes up in points the more times you run it, both r15 and r20 does this. I checked 3dmark Time Spy psyhic test, and score was 37fps not 40fps like always.īut 3dmark raport 5ghz during test ,so not throttling.īut again after 3 minutes ( like in cinebench ) it stabilized to 40fps and psyhic score was normal.Īny ideas why that happened for a while ( moment ) on 416.94? setting too low offset will downclock the CPU even if it would run fine at those voltages. Here is what we got with the CPU at stock and with our XMP profile enabled. Therefore we took a series of readings (score, voltage, power consumption and temperature) during both Cinebench R15 and Cinebench R23 benchmarks. Youre minimum temps were only around 10, do you have the PC in a cold garage. *After second restart ( not first ) score in Cinebench R15 was less consistent ,like at start 2180 and then 2100,2050,1990 ,and after 3 minutes it stabilized to 2120-2150. As we have already said, before you overclock any component, the most important thing is to have reference scores. Why does my score drop and when I lowered my. After playing around with the settings and overclock my CPU to 4.5 Ghz, I am now getting a score of 7.93. When I first overclocked my i7 2600k to 4.4Ghz I was able to get a score around 8.43. But today i installed for some reason driver version 416.94. Hi everyone, I am kinda new to the overclocking world. *So first i had newest drivers 417.71 and my cinebench scores was always consistent like 2115-2150.
